During
a World Cruise of S.S. Canberra, many passengers were
questioned on their pursuits, interests
and hobbies, and from these interviews a
programme was compiled and broadcast over the
ship's system.
A gentleman from New York whose hobby and enthusiasm
for golf had taken him all over the world,
recalled in detail, costs, fascinating settings
and intriguing holes of the 1,173 courses he had
played over. When asked which of the courses he
preferred, he replied without hesitation
